KEI Planner/Scheduler position

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Office Assistant to join our growing team. The qualified individual must be a self-starter, organized and detail oriented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, plus the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications and Duties

  • Residential billing
  • Assist with industrial billing
  • Enter electrical permits, dig permits, and other permitting tasks
  • Answer phones
  • Organize paper files and construction drawings
  • Help assemble customer proposals
  • Electronic project file organization  and maintenance
  • Travel arrangements
  • Administrative duties as related to office operations
  • Scanning hard copy document files for archiving
  • General filing and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Some accounting background experience or related training a plus
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute at 95% accuracy
  • Familiarity with electrical construction or general construction industry preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proven communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • U.S. Citizen or have legal rights to work in the USA without sponsorship
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a drug test
  • Supply verifiable references
  • Be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
