As the HR Assistant and Recruiter for a growing company, I’ve had a front row seat to what makes Knobelsdorff Electric a great place to work. Not only do I get to speak to our employees about it, I also get to experience it myself. So, I took a moment to get in front of the camera and talk about why I came to work at Knobelsdorff Electric and why I think it’s a great place to build a career.

A Great Work Environment

The environment at Knobelsdorff Electric really is something special. Everyone here works together to get the job done. Sometimes that means picking up the slack and other times that means getting your slack picked up by somebody else. We’re all in this together, and everyone wants everyone else to do their best. Plus, you always have access to the resources you need to get a job done.

A Growing Company

I chose Knobelsdorff Electric because there was so much growth. The company has a great future, and I knew that I could come in and grow along with it. As we grow, we are always looking for more and better ways to support employees, too. Our benefits are great: we offer healthcare, dental, life insurance, and 401k.

A Focus on Learning and Safety

We have a fantastic apprentice program that attracts future journeyman from all over. The programs we offer help them get the knowledge and experience they need to continue in their chosen field.

As an added benefit, we’re very safety conscious. We hold safety meetings every Thursday where we keep everyone up-to-date with any and all safety issues or topics. It can be anything from weather-related safety to basic safety concerns. It’s great to work for a company that cares so much about its employees and wants to keep everyone safe.
